िि अली ने कंपनी के कल का कत्ल क्यों किया?वज़ीर अली जब कंपनी के वकील के पास अपनी शिकायत लेकर गया तो वकील ने उसकी बात न सुनकर उसे खरी-खोटी सुना दी। स्वाभिमानी वजीर अली को यह बात अपमानजनक लगी। अपने अपमान और अंग्रेजों के प्रति घृणा के कारण उसने कंपनी के वकील की हत्या कर दी।
